There are lots of reasons to visit Rochester every weekend. Also, I know there are several colleges, but does it have a "college feel"? The Bachelor Forum is central to Rochester's Neighborhood of the Arts, home to cafes, galleries, museums, and fantastic restaurants. It is free and quick. The worst part is if you go thinking you will actually find nice respectable guys who car about themselves and trying to impress, as few if any do. Taxes, fees not included for deals content. The Wedge is still somewhat up and coming and has a bit of a gritty hipster vibe.
The South Wedge has a hip young artsy factor. Family-Friendly Moms, dads and kids need a getaway, too. Is there a "gay district" here? Bar night is the 3rd Saturday of every month, and it tends to be busy. It's in the center of another one of Rochester's most popular urban neighborhoods, the South Wedge, home to galleries, shops, and foodie-magnet attractions. There is a bar here and there that's college oriented but other than that, no college vibe. Same goes for a lot of the Southeast not including Cornhill by the river think Southeast quad University down to the expressway the Monroe and Park ave areas.
